Marius Dan Moga’s work invites viewers into a reflective journey through childhood landscapes—both personal and universal.
His photographs capture the overlooked corners of Eastern Europe—wild, liminal, and caught in a perpetual state of transition, revealing beauty in the humble and the ordinary.
Growing up in post-communist Romania, Moga is drawn to places shaped by the weight of history and its quiet persistence in everyday life.
Through a reflective, observational approach, he explores the intergenerational change and the fragile balance between memory and progress.
His work emphasises the act of seeing as a way to question and reframe the familiar, encouraging viewers to engage with the complexities of place and identity, or even challenging them to react as informed by their own personal histories and perceptions.
