This project is a journey through the landscapes of my childhood, shaped by both personal memory and a broader, shared history. I photograph the overlooked corners of Eastern Europe, wild, liminal spaces caught between past and present, where transition feels constant and unresolved.
Growing up in post-communist Romania, I became drawn to places where history lingers, not in grand monuments, but in the quiet persistence of everyday life. These spaces hold the weight of memory while adapting to an uncertain future. Through a reflective, observational approach, I explore intergenerational change and the fragile balance between what is remembered, what is lost, and what continues to endure.
